Alex Dalgetty and Sons is a fifth-generation family baker based in the Scottish Borders.
Following an extensive refurbishment of one of the business’ high street shops, a social media campaign was needed to raise awareness for the artisanal craft product range and the heritage of the company.
Working with the business owner, a six-week social media content plan was developed covering five key aspects of business storytelling. Key to the plan was the use of the business image bank which included old photos covering the five generations, the baking process and the people behind the baking.
The reach and engagement on the business social media channels increased significantly over the duration of the campaign. The campaign duration was cut short as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown.
